No Show Fee: $1.15 per mile driven (the rest will be refunded)
Cancellation within 24 hours: 75% refund
Cancellation within 12 hours: 50% refund

Deadhead miles : $1.00 per mile

For Example:

Leg A– Sally needs to get picked up from her house to her doctors appointment. She is 25 miles away from Nashville. Total deadhead is 25 miles and she will be charged $25

Leg B– Sally needs to get picked up from her appointment to go back home. Once she dropped off, it takes 25 miles to go back to Nashville. Total deadhead is 25 miles and she will be charged $25

In total, $50 will be the deadhead charge.

For NEMT providers, these miles represent a cost without direct revenue. They consume fuel, add wear and tear to the vehicle, and demand the driver’s time, all without a patient in the vehicle.
